Dr. Anthony Salmon, DC

Dr. Anthony Salmon joined Pacific Spine & Rehab in 2024, bringing over 25 years of chiropractic and sports medicine experience to the Carlsbad team.

He earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Southern California in 1990 and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA in 1999. After 12 years in private practice in Lake Elsinore, CA, he spent a decade as a surgical consultant for fracture fixation with Johnson & Johnson — deepening his appreciation for osteoporosis prevention and skeletal flexibility.

Dr. Salmon is the official chiropractor for the San Diego Legion Rugby team, now in his 4th year. He also practices at Medizen Health and Wellness in Mira Mesa and has a long history of providing chiropractic care to Southwestern College football, women's soccer, and track teams.

A competitive powerlifter, Dr. Salmon is the current California State Champion in the squat at 623 lbs in the men's 50+ division. He coached shot put and discus at Cathedral Catholic High School from 2011 to 2022. There is also a good chance he will beat you in chess.

He is a proud father of two outstanding daughters, husband to an exceptional woman, and son and grandson of San Diego tuna fishermen — a legacy he carries with great pride.
