What's Included in the $49 Visit
Your first appointment runs about 45 to 60 minutes. We use that time to understand your history, examine you carefully, and explain what we find — not to upsell a long contract.
Everything below is included in the $49 fee. You will not be charged separately for the exam, the movement screen, or the first treatment when it is appropriate to begin the same day.
- Detailed intake of your pain history, prior injuries, and goals
- Orthopedic and neurological exam by a licensed chiropractor
- Posture, gait, and functional movement screening
- Range-of-motion testing for the involved region
- Review of imaging you bring (X-ray, MRI, CT) if available
- Written care recommendation with timeline and cost estimate
Why We Offer This Special
Most chiropractic offices quote $200 to $350 for a first exam. That price tag stops people who actually need care from picking up the phone. We would rather see you for $49, give you a clear answer, and let you decide what comes next.
If you do not need ongoing care, we will tell you. If you need something we do not offer — surgical consult, advanced imaging, a different specialist — we will refer you out. The special is a low-risk way to get a real opinion.
Who Qualifies
The $49 Special is open to every new patient at our Oceanside and Carlsbad — Bressi Ranch offices, with two clarifications.
- Anyone paying cash or using a Health Savings Account (HSA/FSA)
- Patients curious about chiropractic but not ready for a full plan
- Athletes, surfers, and Marines who want a movement screen
- Office workers with desk-related neck or back tension
- Not for active personal injury or auto accident claims — those are billed to the insurance carrier on lien, with no out-of-pocket cost to you
What Happens During the Visit
Step 1 — Intake (10 minutes). You complete a short health questionnaire at home or at the front desk. We review it with you before any hands-on work begins.
Step 2 — Exam (15 to 20 minutes). The doctor checks posture, range of motion, joint mechanics, and relevant orthopedic or neurological tests for the area causing pain.
Step 3 — Movement screen (5 to 10 minutes). A short functional assessment to see how you load your spine, hips, and shoulders during everyday movements like squatting, reaching, and bending.
Step 4 — Review of findings (10 minutes). The doctor explains what is going on in plain language, shows you what they found, and outlines what they recommend.
Step 5 — First treatment when appropriate (10 to 15 minutes). If the exam clears you, you receive your first adjustment, soft-tissue work, or rehab session that day — included in the $49.
After the First Visit
You leave with a written plan. It includes how many visits we estimate, what techniques we expect to use, what milestones to look for, and what it will cost. You are never obligated to continue.
Some patients need three visits. Some need a full corrective program over twelve weeks. The plan reflects your case — not a template.
