Conditions We Treat

Pacific Spine & Rehab treats spine, joint, nerve, soft-tissue, sports, accident, and work-related conditions for patients in Oceanside, Carlsbad, and across North County. Find your condition below — every entry links to a detailed treatment page.

Spine & Nerve

Spine & nerve conditions

Pain that starts in the spine — discs, joints, or nerves — often radiates to the arms, hips, or legs. Early evaluation prevents chronic patterns.

Head, Jaw & Upper Body

Head, jaw & upper body conditions

Headaches, jaw pain, and upper-extremity tendon problems often share root drivers — posture, muscle imbalance, or repetitive strain.

Our Process

How we evaluate pain and injuries

Every new patient follows the same evaluation path so we identify the real driver of your pain — not just the loudest symptom.

Consultation

We listen to your history, prior care, and the activities most affected by pain.

Exam

Orthopedic and neurologic testing to pinpoint the involved structures.

Movement Testing

Functional screens reveal which patterns drive your pain and what to load first.

Treatment Planning

A written plan with visit frequency, milestones, and home exercises.

Referral If Needed

Imaging, MD, or specialist co-management when conservative care is not the right fit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What conditions do you treat?
We treat spine, joint, nerve, and soft-tissue conditions — including lower back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated discs, whiplash, headaches, TMJ, shoulder pain, tennis and golfer's elbow, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, and a wide range of sports injuries. We also handle personal injury, auto accident, and workers' compensation cases.
How do I know which treatment I need?
You don't have to know. Your first visit includes a consultation, exam, and movement screen. We identify the structures involved, explain what we found, and recommend the treatment mix that fits — chiropractic, rehab, shockwave, decompression, or a combination.
Do I need imaging before my first visit?
No. Most patients are evaluated with a hands-on exam and movement testing. If imaging is needed — for red flags, suspected disc injury, or no progress after a trial of care — we refer to a local imaging center and coordinate the results.
Can you help after a car accident?
Yes. We see whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and headaches following motor vehicle collisions. We document injuries thoroughly for your claim and offer treatment on lien for qualified personal injury cases. See our auto accident page for details.
Do you treat sports injuries?
Yes. We treat acute and chronic sports injuries for surfers, runners, lifters, Marines, and weekend athletes. Care typically combines manual therapy, shockwave for tendon issues, and progressive rehab to return you to sport.
Do you accept personal injury or workers' comp cases?
Yes. We accept personal injury cases on lien and are authorized workers' compensation providers. We handle paperwork — PR-2s, attorney letters, adjuster communication — so you can focus on healing.
How many visits will I need?
Most acute cases respond within 4–8 visits. Chronic or disc-related cases often need 8–12 visits over several weeks. We re-evaluate progress regularly and adjust the plan rather than locking you into a long package.
Do you have locations in both Oceanside and Carlsbad?
Yes. We operate full-service clinics in Oceanside (Vista Way, off I-5) and Carlsbad (Bressi Ranch). Both offer the same services and same-day scheduling.
